- Description: As an urban forest supporter, I am looking forward to learning from others and contributing with a metropolitan perspective to greening of cities. AMB is the public administration of the metropolitan area of Barcelona. It has an extension of 636 km2 and hosts a population of 3.3 million people from 36 different municipalities. The concentration of an array of great natural assets – from the Collserola Natural Park to our network of green infrastructures - in such proximity with a dense population requires innovative solutions to tackle metropolitan challenges in consonance with nature.
